Golnoor, despite shining in the second half, conceded the result to Calais

Golnoor Isfahan team in the second week of the Iran Men’s Basketball Premier League faced Kalleh Mazandaran on Thursday evening, 17 Mehr, at the Mokhaberat Hall in Isfahan and ultimately lost 68–57 to its guest.

In this match, Golnoor did not start well and fell behind the opponent in the first two quarters. The Golnoor players lost the first quarter 10–4 and the second quarter 23–14, so the first half ended with Kalleh leading 33–18.

Afterward, the Golnoor players entered the court with greater motivation and the third quarter was a closer contest, but this period also ended 21–20 in favor of Kalleh. In the final quarter, the Golnoor players imposed their superiority and took a 19–14 lead over the opponent, but the first-half point difference prevented their complete comeback.

With this result, Golnoor Isfahan suffered its second consecutive defeat of the new season and remained winless in the standings. Meanwhile, Kalleh Mazandaran earned its first full point with this victory.
