Golnoor was defeated in the fight with the leader of the league

In the 18th week of the Iranian Basketball Premier League, Golnoor Basketball Team faced the current league leader, Kalleh Mazandaran, in a sensitive and difficult match and lost 102–88.
The match was held on Thursday night at Payambar-e Azam Stadium in Amol, just three days after Golnoor's tough clash with Palayesh Naft Abadan in the 17th week of the competition. The pressure caused by a packed schedule and continuous travel over the course of a week had a significant impact on Golnoor players' performance, reducing their physical and mental readiness.
Golnoor, which had played one of its most sensitive matches of the week in Isfahan against Palayesh Naft Abadan on Monday, did not have enough time to recover and rest its players. This was especially challenging as, in less than 72 hours, the team had to travel to Amol to face one of the strongest teams in the league.
Despite fatigue and the high pressure of the matches, Golnoor players put in an acceptable performance in the fourth quarter and at times managed to challenge Kalleh. However, the experience and high level of coordination among Kalleh players, combined with the passionate support of their home fans, ultimately led to a victory for the host team.
Golnoor is looking ahead to future competitions with full strength and high spirits, and will strive to deliver a more successful performance through better planning and use of available opportunities. The team's loyal fans will continue to stand by and support their players.
