The zealous victory of Golnoor against the defending champion in Gorgan

In the first game of the men’s basketball Premier League quarterfinals, Golnoor Isfahan delivered a brilliant performance, managing to cut the deficit significantly in the fourth quarter and winning that quarter 22-12.

The match, held at 16:30 on Saturday, 11 Esfand 1403, at Azadi Arena in Gorgan, saw Hamidreza Shams’s players put in a strong display, but they ultimately fell 76-66 to defending champion Shahrdari Gorgan.

Golnoor’s fighting spirit in the final quarter gave it a clear edge, showing that it will not be an easy opponent for Gorgan in the rest of the series. The Premier League quarterfinals are played as a best-of-five series, and Golnoor can still advance to the semifinals by making up for this result in the upcoming games.
