Golnoor stood before the stars of Gorgan

Golnoor Isfahan basketball team was the guest of Shahrdari Gorgan in the third week of the Iran Men’s Basketball Premier League and ultimately lost 90–59 to the reigning champion; however, despite the point difference, the Golnoor players put on a brave and respectable performance until the final minutes of the third quarter against one of the league’s most star-studded teams. The Golnoor players, who have entered the court this season with a mix of young and experienced players, resisted well against the offensive power of the Gorgan team in the first three quarters and, with exemplary energy and effort, showed that their path of growth and team cohesion is correctly taking shape. In the fourth quarter, the experience and depth of the Shahrdari Gorgan roster caused the point difference to increase, but despite this result, Golnoor proved that it is a fighting and motivated team that will have a lot to say in the future.
