The victory of Golnoor came out of the heart of the numbers; A win with rebounds, assists and faith

The Golnoor Isfahan basketball team defeated Pas Kurdistan in a close game.

In the continuation of Week 8 of the Iranian Basketball Premier League, Golnoor Isfahan overcame Pas Kurdistan 63–62 in a tense and close contest, registering its third consecutive win of the season.

In this match, held on Monday, 12 Aban, at Shahid Mokhaberat Hall in Isfahan, Hamidreza Shams's pupils, despite falling behind in the first quarter, shone in the second half to make up the difference and eventually close out the game with a 63–62 victory.

The quarter results were as follows:

First quarter 13–21 in favor of Pas,

Second quarter 18–14 in favor of Golnoor (first-half total 33–35 in favor of Pas), third quarter 12–11 in favor of Golnoor

and the fourth quarter ended 20–16 in favor of Golnoor, so overall the Isfahan whites celebrated a one-point victory.

In this match, Golnoor converted 21 of its 59 shots (31%). The team's two-point shooting accuracy was 38% (14 of 36) and its three-point shooting 30% (7 of 23). Golnoor players also earned 14 points (56%) from 25 free throws.

In rebounding, Shams's pupils put in an acceptable performance and showed their statistical superiority with 52 rebounds against the opponent; although with 20 turnovers they still have room to improve in protecting possession.

Individually, Mehdi Moradi-Nasab was Golnoor's best player with 14 points. After him, Saleh Moradian and Ali Maleki each scored 11 points, Mojtaba Rajai had 8 points, and Farhad Saburi contributed 7 points, playing important roles in the team's victory.

On the boards, Farhad Saburi and Amirhossein Mojiri each grabbed 7 rebounds, while Mehdi Moradi-Nasab and Mojtaba Rajai each had 6 rebounds. Mojtaba Rajai and Ali Maleki also had 6 assists each, having the biggest impact on ball movement and creating opportunities.

Statistically, Golnoor scored 12 points from opponent turnovers, 19 second-chance points, 28 points in the paint, and 31 bench points. During the game, the team erased a 7-point deficit and its largest lead over the opponent was only 3 points; statistics that reflect the close and hard-fought battle between the two teams.

With this result, Golnoor Isfahan improved its position in the standings while securing its third consecutive victory, showing that its upward trend continues after getting past the difficult early-season period.
